About

I am a software developer.  Currently I am using Flutter to create a mobile app for my employer.

In the past have used Java, Groovy, Ant, XSLT, React, React-Native, Dart, Node, C, C++, VBasic, command shells, web services, CBASIC, .NET, ASP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML,  XSLT, Eclipse, Jenkins, Tomcat, QuickBuild, and many others I have forgotten.

My first computer language was FORTH.

This blog is for jotting down my thoughts, observations, and any ideas I may have.  Since I’m interested in everything I may wander all over the place. I may even opine on controversial subjects like religion and politics. In both I am independent, iconoclastic, and probably naive, so I’ll probably annoy any one who cares to read.

Any posts reflect my thinking, attitudes, and ignorance at the time of posting.  I have the right to change my mind and “get learned”. The opinions expressed here are my own and do not necessarily represent those of current or past employers. Any program code is presented AS IS. Any novel, unique, or great ideas are mine. Any bad ideas are just an error.

I reserve the right to change my opinion as time progresses, and as ideas evolve.

“Information is a source of learning. But unless it is organized, processed, and available to the right people in a format for decision making, it is a burden, not a benefit.” — W. Pollard.
